Renet and all, thanks for pointing this out. Indeed, JAWS started as a user.
Due to it being a family machine my dad would not want JAWS talking as soon
as the log in screen came up, as he's sighted, so I just run JAWS manually.
The next time I go on it I will make this very change, which I actually
found out myself, and let you know how it goes. Thanks again!
