In what sense does this result in "saving" the address book? How does 
"export" come to eequate with "save," in this case? What actually happens, 
and where is the Address Book saved, and in what form? Are we just talking 
about the file that the address book is? That would be address book.wab, 
typed exactly like that, and if you find it, wherever you happen to keep it 
on your hard drive, you can copy it just like any other folder. Meantime, 
the Address Book that you know in Outlook or Outlook Express is saved every 
time you make any changes to it, and by that I mean the file I just 
mentioned is updated and saved.

I confess I've never learned the meaning of the concept of "exporting" and 
"importing" email program stuff, but this much is true, that the Address 
Book is simply a file.

go to tools, and go to address book.
When the window opens go to the file menue and go to export submenue and
press enter, and then press enter on addressbook. I hope this helps you!
