I already have a shortcut key for starting JAWS. But how do you close
JAWS after a crash if you can't see the screen and use the computer
mouse?

        Yes do the following
Tap the windows key, and the start menu pops up
Tap the letter on your keyboard, and a run dialog box pops up
Type the version of jaws in the box, i.e. jaws9 if you are
running that version, and hit enter and jaws will start.

Occasionally, a crash or other glitch causes JAWS to stop
speaking. When this happens, is there any way to close and restart JAWS
without sighted assistance to restore it to normal? Thanks.
