Chris, I followed your instruction to press alt m and then arrow down the list of program-specific key commands. You are correct that it says control shift r is reply to all, but despite that, I'm sending this to you individually, as well as to the list, by having pressed exactly that key combination. And that's what's in my .jkm keyboard manager description, as well. I do not understand why this should be. Yes, I'm using OE version 6.0, not something older. You know, I don't even know what "reply to all" means. Is it related to how you reply to messages in a newsgroup, maybe? I've never been in a newsgroup since I started using Windows and Outlook Express, so I'm just guessing. anyway, sorry, but this is how things are set up on my system, and I did not do any of it, myself. By the way, where did you learn that alt m command to show a list of keyboard commands for Outlook Express? And is this a Windows feature that you can invoke in any Windows program to see a list of its keyboard commands? Or is it a Jaws feature? Thanks, Daniel ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Chaffin" <cmchaffin@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, March 31, 2006 11:00 AM Subject: Re: Replying to Sender Hi, Sorry, but unless you are running an older version of Outlook Express, your keystrokes are incorrect. While you are in outlook express: Hit alt M for the message menu Arrow down and listen to each item and listen to the hotkey keystroke associated with each item. The third item in the menu says, Reply to sender Control + R. The fourth item in the menu says, Reply to all, Control + shft + R. If you hit control + R, it will reply to sender, or for this message, it will reply to the list. Now, running Jaws 7.0, in my keyboard manager for Outlook Express 5 & 6, if I go down to reply directly to sender, I hear none for the keystroke. I really do not know why you would have something different than everyone else running Outlook Express and Jaws 7.0. Hope this helps, Chris ----- Original Message ----- From: "Yardbird" <yardbird@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, March 31, 2006 1:43 PM Subject: Re: Replying to Sender > Bruce, > > Come down here to my apartment and try this on my computer, please. > Control > R is reply to all, and that's nothing to do with Jaws. it's just the > Windows-related keyboard command in Outlook Express.
