Hello everyone,

No, Kazaa, WinMX, Direct Connect and all that are all different
technologies, using different protocols and networks for file sharing.
They have therefore nothing to do with bittorrent.

I haven't used bittorrent very much, but as I have understood it so far,
it is initially based on a web interface. You use your web browser
(Internet Explorer or something else) to log into a web site offering
torrents. As soon as you open a .torrent link to download such a
torrent, your bittorrent client get awakened and pops up with its own
interface to handle the down- and upload process. I myself have used a
bittorrent client called bitTornado (just search for it on google or
something, as I cannot remember their home page address right now, but
it is a project hosted by sourceforge.net). Anyway, bittornado
integrates with your web browser and works quite well. However, I am
primarily using Braille, and have not tried to use bittornado with
speech turned on. Although it was relatively easy to use for me as an
experienced Braille user, I imagine that the interface may give speech
users some challenges.

Best regards from the Norwegian west coast;

Tore Johnny
