    Subject: Question about audacity

     Hello All,
I'm a new subscriber of this list. I'm using windows xp and jaws versions 9
and 10. I have a question for all the people who use audacity which is supposed
to be an accessible recording software. I'm trying to record multiple tracks,
and when I add a track, or just press R, it seems to be recording them in sink.
However, when I press space to play them back, or r to record another track,
they have about a second delay between each track which consequently places
them out of sink. Is there a way I can fix the settings in audacity to
automatically keep the tracks I record in sink because I can't figure it out.
Some help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, if you know of any other accessible multi-track recorders which I can
use, please let me know. I'm using goldwave to edit and record sounds, but it
is not a multi-track recorder.
    Thanks again.
    Tanja M.
