Thank you Elf.

I've found the solutions to my problem. I used the same key stroke in Skype
for answer with video. I've changed the key stroke and its ok.

all right, well you can try that, and once in a great while, it takes a
complete removal and reinstall to fix something, a note: I leave a shortcut
to a downloaded installer file on my desktop for repairs and reload if
needed.

good luck,

Thank you Elf, I've done just that before and the problem still persists.

May be I should remove my settings and start all over again.

hmmm, ok, as far as I know at this time, that can only be caused by a flaw
developing in the program.

what I would do is either 1 insert the disk for the version your running, or
2. download the executable installation for the version your running if not
a newer one

and then run the file like your setting up for the first time. you should
get a screen with choices, repair being one of them, start a repair and
watch for the screen where it asks you if you wish to delete your user
settings, say no, and try that to see if that fixes things

a note: I said say no to the deletion of the user files and settings, but it
may be that they do need to be replaced, if so I apologize for taking you
the long way through this, but I was trying not to make you have to go
through the setting up of your jaws from scratch like you just installed for
the first time.

Hello Elf,

Sorry, I'm been away from my pc. This happens in all programs, be it word or
outlook. Whenever I want to edit or proof reading, control plus right arrow
does not read anything but control plus left arrow works fine.

Thanks

Happy new year to you all!

I'm using Dell studio, win 7 and Jaws 12.

Jaws reading keys: control plus right arrow sometimes works and some other
times it doesn't.

What might be the cause? Can anyone help?

Thanks,
