do you have a subscription for the program, if so go out and get the cd copy of
the program cause with the program pre installed it might have problems i
always purchase the program and install it that way i have had no problems with
installing or authorizing jaws.
that might work.

    but,
the problem, even after doing that
    turning off norton
    and allowing authorizing jfw
to do its thing or what ever it wants
    at home with dial up
    every thing is ok

but, when i take the laptop to work
    and plug into, the dsl,
or allow the wireless to connect to the internet
norton pops up again and again
    and kills jaws 7
    every time
    unless i turn it off
so i am not able to use 7 at work

    and am contemplating
either turning off the firewall of norton and installing another firewall
because the window firewall is worthless

Just for the purpose of activating Jaws you can turn the XP firewall on and
the Norton one off, then reverse it when you are done.

Have had to reinstall jaws 7, several times

      Have jaws 6.20 start instead

If I do, have 7 start up

I get a message from Norton

Everything is ok jaws 7 runs ok

Have done this a dozen times

      With the same results

I am trying to install JAWS 7. It installs OK but when Norton Internet
security is running I get a message to block or unblock JAWS. I select unblock
but
JAWS then stops working. When I disable Norton JAWS runs OK. Can anyone
help.
      thanks
      Paul
