Hi. I think the problem you are having is the same as mine with the =
check
address and auto complete feature. I will type the address and the =
address I
use to use comes up and no getting rid of it. As well I made a mistake =
in
the past in a few addresses in outlook and it remembers the mistakes =
for
ever no getting rid of it. I tried turning check and auto complete off =
but
when I turned it back on the same wrong address was remembered. Even =
with a
restart. I would love to know how to clear the outlook memory and =
start
from scratch.=20

Subject: Outlook, How to get old contact address out of memory

Hi,
I'm having trouble with Outlook when someone's address changes and I =3D
update it in my contact list. It's as if Outlook keeps the old address =
in =3D
memory, and if I don't remember and check, when I type the person's name =
in
the =3D "to" or "cc" field, it will use the old address, not the newly =
updated
one in =3D my contacts list. I know I can get around this by always =
choosing
it =3D directly from the contacts, but I usually just type the name in =
and
forget to =3D look.

My husband says there is a drop-down box that appears when there is more
than one choice for a recipient. He can see and is able to delete the
unwanted one. I've been able to get to the drop-down box a couple of =
=3D
times with the JAWS cursor, (but can't even do that reliably,) but can't
seem =3D to delete or remove the old address I don't want any more.

Does anyone know how to "dump" these old addresses from memory or to =3D
access the "choice" box?

Hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance for any help.

Cindy
