Oh, Lord! I never even looked at the header to see that this was going on in the JFW list! I see. I just have been responding to it without even noticing which list it was coming from and going to! I'm subscribed to the Open Book list and just assumed this was all happening there! Now that I think of it, there were signs. Oh, well.

Hi everyone. My appologies. I started this subject simply because with the release of open book 7.0 FS had instructions in the whats new features on how to scan with open book in word and I was looking for those instructions on the site and could not find them so that is why I posted it to the list. Yes, you are right in that it has nothing to do with jfw, so perhaps we should end it now, and in fact, I still did not get an answer to my question as to how to get this feature in word working again for me. It worked when I was using word 2002, but not with word 2003. Sorry if I caused any problems for the list.
