RE: Office 2003 or Office XP and JAWS

You do not need to uninstall MS Office XP before installing Office 2003.
It should upgrade smoothly, and I think it asks you if you want to keep
both versions of Office (I would not do that), or replace the XP with
2003. If you have Outlook, it will not allow you to have 2 versions at
once, so it will replace it.

You'd have to read the license agreement before automatically assuming
you could not put it on 2 pcs. Many of the MS products now license it
to the person, not the pc. This is both good and bad. It does mean you
can put it on as many pcs as you own. But, you must guarantee that no
one else can use the software. This also means you are not allowed to
install it on even one pc if that pc is shared by more than one person,
without guaranteeing that only the licensed person uses the software.
That's a real drag, but the way it is, so find and read the EULA.txt
file for the details.

This policy does vary from one product to the next.
