Finding jaws 5.1 as withjaws 5 will not read a simple access 97 table. It
doesn't read field labels and reads nothing after a few tabs.
Is this just me or are others being bothered by this?
I find it annoying that jaws 5 is less good at access 97 than 4.5 was.
Obviously, I can run two screen reader versions, but, for me there is a
question of priorities and principles.
Most of my work is word processing related or data base. I would like F S to
make sure jaws works with what I imagine are the most commonly used programmes.
I don't want some of their internet bells and whistles, the new place marker
refinements for instance.
By the By, I don't notice any increase in overall jaws responsiveness with this
new upgrade.
I'll certainly think twice and another twice about buying the next full version.
