I found out how much it'll cost to upgrade. It's $360 for jaws standard. I just have to find a laptop with windows xp home.

from JAWS
5 to JAWS 8. It would require a new purchase. However, you can 
upgrade for
free to JAWS 5.1, which many listers say is still a pretty
