Hi,

The thing I hate when a new version of jaws comes out, there is so much
unnecessary negative input so why should fs bother with the list when all
that is said about the new version is not to anybody's liking? Shouldn't
people be positive and constructive about their posts instead of tearing fs
down? I know myself I am just glad to be able to access the internet and
read things I could never do before. I know a few people say they will use
another screen reader but who cares. If someone doesn't like jaws they can
just chose other means of reading but they would probably find fault with
what reader they chose anyway. This is a bit off topic so I guess this
thread should stop but that's really aggravating when a new version comes
out.

I couldn't agree more!
I'd like for this list to be taken seriously again. But that's not gonna
happen until people actually take the time to learn and educate themselves
about JAWS a little more. Sure there's a whole bunch of stuff I don't know,
I'm no expert especially when it comes to scripting. But I do take the
time to listen to the training materials and read the help topics when i
don't know how a feature works. and if I'm still a bit stuck that's when
the list comes in. The list should be something you use when you've tried a
lot of things but it just isn't clicking, or if you just have no idea about
something and just need a bit of guidance.
