I just thought I would add that you don't have to use a program like e-backup. You can save your dbx files found in that folder that you and Yardbird are talking about. Then on your new computer just copy and paste the dbx files into the location that the new machine has the OE dbx folders. But I have seen that fail plenty of times, and e-backup for example, just automates the process for you. Plus it backups and restores all your rules, contacts, favorties, etc. Debbie ----- Original Message ----- From: "Debbie Scales" <debbie@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, June 16, 2006 7:07 PM Subject: Re: Messages in OE No that is not what I am talking about. What I am talking about is say that you want to save all the messages in all your folders . Say you are getting a new machine for example. Now I use a program like e-backup which backs up restores your OE data. But what I am talking about is saving the messages that are in your OE folders to a folder on your computer and being able to restore them. Now I know that plenty of you out there have written for help with this very thing! Can anybody help me out here, smile? Is what your talking about something like this? You want to move some of the OE messages from one part of the hard drive to another part? By this I mean the way OE hides the message in the strange place.
