Re: Laptop's use? was Reply Direct to Sender in JAWS 12

Sounds like my problem, as well. The laptop combinations seem useless.

I do note that I partially (note "partially") resolved this. I opened the
keyboard manager and assigned the following keystroke to the Reply to
Sender: JAWS+Shift+R. However I used the CapsLock key to generate the JAWS
key.

I'm mystified why some keystrokes in the list are created using Insert and
other using JAWS in the structure. And it does not appear to me that the use
of JAWS in the structure is consistent with laptop layouts.

Anyone have a clue why this is the case?

In any case, my new key combination of JAWS+Shift+R now works, but only 50%
of the time. Cy, you and I are equally bewitched. I tested repeatedly on a
single message, and half the time I got the sender, and the other half, the
jfw address. Weird.

How would this command be in laptop layout? I use Shift+lock shift key+r but
Windows beeps like I pressed an invalid keystroke! using Jaws ten under
windows XP.

George;

the reply directly to sender is;

insert+shift+r

however, you must be inside the message.
otherwards, you need to have the message opened, then use the keystroke,
insert+shift+r=reply directly to sender.
