In Jaws10 is the layer keymode in existance? and in what functions? because
in reading Jaws 10's help it isn't mentioned, at least using Jaws in
Spanish; I don't know you english jaws users out there if you have better
luck.

This is called layered mode and I agree it should be explained in
Keyboard Help. The thing is it's designed so that the next key press,
such as s, triggers a function in JAWS, for example toggle speech on or
off in this case.
