Yes, it is saying that sign me in automatically is checked. I asked a
sighted co-worker to look at it to confirm that JFW was saying it
correctly and she said that it was indeed checked.

My security is set for custom, but I am reluctant to change it since
the sign me in automatically used to work and I haven't changed the
security.

thanks, again,

ok
lest try this
after putting in your sighn in, email address and password
press the pc cursor plus key
now when you tab to the check box,
to remember password
is it correctly saying not checked and when you press the spacebar
saying
checked??
then tab to the sign in button and entering
then alt f4 out
and see if going back into hotmail do you have to sign in
also a thought just occured to me also check what your security setting
is
in internet options are,
if it says custom level
tab to default which is lower
alt a, to apply
then go to the ok button
another thought,
but i have brain freeze on what to set it to
are the setting for cookies i think it is in the same area of security
in
advance
hope some one else, can pick up and be able to tell both of us about
cookies
and how to set them to allow session cookie and not third party ones

I don't have a program to my knowledge that deletes cookies. I did as
you said and went into the internet Explorer tools and options and
deleted the tempoary cookies. After that I logged onto Hotmail and
checked the sign me in automatically. Then I went out of Hotmail and
went back in and I had to re-type my password again. Something
strange is happening because in the past I never had to do my
password.
It would take me directly into my account in Hotmail.

Any more suggestions?

Thanks,

if you clean out the cookies
you are deleting the hotmail cookie that remembers your password
or, have a program like i have called
pest patrol
running
which doesn't allow tracking cookies from any web site to put them on
my
computer
try cleaning out the cookies and internet temp files, from internet
options
in control panel,
then try signing into your hotmail account

I have the Sign me in automatically checked in Hotmail, but lately
every
time I log on, I have to key in my password. Sign me in automatically
is still checked.

I used the space bar to un check it and re-check it to see if that
would make it work, but it didn't.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have JFW version 5.

Thanks,
