has anyone that has the nine pin serial port tried running the dec talk
express the orginal way? and if so does it work?
or do you need to buy the converter to use the device in windows 7?

Hi. I posted a similar question before and got very helpful responses, as
usual. Listers report that Dectalk Express (the old synth, not the USB version)
can work with Windows 7 so long as it is hooked up with a serial-to-USB
connector. However, everyone who replied was using a 32-bit machine.
Has anyone yet had success using Dectalk Express with Windows 7 on a 64-bit
machine?
