I am currently using the latest update with Windows XP professional and have
had no problems with the applications I have used so far. I also installed
on my Husband's Vista machine last night and had no problems except that I
don't know Vista and keep getting lost with the changes, which will take
some relearning.

Subject: JAWS 9.0.2152, extremely Impressed So Far

Well, I'm running the latest update on a Vista machine running business
edition service pack 1, and it's working absolutely perfectly here.

Before I updated my JAWS, I updated my laptop's audio drivers, and this
newest JAWS update seems to have gone a long way to curing a problem I had
wherein JAWS and Outlook 07 seemed to crash and thrash and kick one another
around until neither one worked. I've not had a single Outlook error since
the update.

Also, the update of JAWS and the update of my audio drivers ended a strange
experience I kept having with eloquence where the voice seemed to pop in and
out--how do I describe this? Kind of like turning it on and off quickly at
the end of a word. It sounded a bit like someone unkeying a radio
transmitter milliseconds after finishing talking. The words were kind of
clipped--never so badly that I couldn't understand anything, but the audio
drivers update and the JAWS update in combination seem to have ended that
clipping as well.

I won't sermonize, but suffice it to say that I've sure relearned my lesson
about the value of updating drivers!

Regards,

Nolan
