Subject: JAWS 5.00.812 Problem on XP

Dear JAWS Users,
I have downloaded the updated version of JAWS 5.0 (JAWS 5.00.812). I am
using Windows XP Professional. I have changed my XP settings into Freedom
Scientific's recommendations that are discussed in JAWS help. I still have a
problem! When I go to My Computer, and navigate on my drives, JAWS does not
read, for example, "Local Disk (C:)" or CD Drive (E:)". If you want to test
This problem with your JAWS 5.0, go to my computer and refresh the screen by
pressing Insert + Escape. This problem was not occur on JAWS versions prior
to 5.0. Also, I do not have this problem on other version of Windows such as
2000 and Millennium. Please test this, and Report it to Freedom Scientific.
Do you have any suggestions to solve this problem? Thank you.
Best regards,
Armond.
