Hi, I have checked in my PC to see this problem, but it seems to be working well. So perhaps you could double check to see whether the settings have been changed properly according to the FS recommendation. I am using Windows XP Professional. I have changed my XP settings into Freedom Scientific's recommendations that are discussed in JAWS help. I still have a problem! When I go to My Computer, and navigate on my drives, JAWS does not read, for example, "Local Disk (C:)" or CD Drive (E:)". If you want to test This problem with your JAWS 5.0, go to my computer and refresh the screen by pressing Insert + Escape. This problem was not occur on JAWS versions prior to 5.0. Also, I do not have this problem on other version of Windows such as 2000 and Millennium. Please test this, and Report it to Freedom Scientific. Do you have any suggestions to solve this problem? Thank you. > Best regards, > Armond. > -- > To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line. > > If you have any concerns about the list, post received from the list, or the way the list is being run, do not post them to the list.
