Hello Bill, or any that can answer this question.
These Blasted Java Update Messages!

Everything with my computer is find, and I do not want to change one little
thing!

I too get these messages from Java, asking me to "update", often at very
inconvenient times, when I am right in the middle of writing a document or such.

How can I turn off the feature that allows these messages access to my computer?
I do not want to update any Java!

Any help will be so greatly appreciated!

I am using XP-Home and Windows 9. with I E 7

With Best Regards,
Alan

    Hi List,

Sometimes when I logon, I get messages asking if I want to update.

Today, I was asked about updating my HP printer software. I went ahead and
agreed to it.

In the past days, I'm prompted about updating Java scripts. What are Java
scripts, and do I need to update them?

    Becky
