Dear Michael, Well, I never download the "Latest Java Updates" anyway, and I do not plan to, so yes, can you please tell me how to do the action that will stop these !@#&* messages from appearing on my computer, when I least need distractions! Also, they are very hard to get rid of, even if I more or less hit "Close" on them about half a dozen times! The only way the thing will get off my screen, not that I can see my screen but out of my mind, leave me alone, is if I hit "Remind me later"! And, there is not even a "Number of days" just "Later"! So later is the next day! Thanks any help will be appreciated. We're positively salivating with anticipation. Today, I was asked about updating my HP printer software. I went ahead and agreed to it. In the past days, I'm prompted about updating Java scripts. What are Java scripts, and do I need to update them? Becky
