Folks,

No matter what we say or do, it won't change the current pissing contest
between FS and GW-Micro.
Let's just please get back to JAWS.

Hi

Totally agree here. It's really sad. Instead of working to develop
JAWS, they have their lawyers out there trying to stomp the
competition in court.
I can understand patents and that they have to be respected but come
on! GW is using a totally different type of code base, and a whole
other way of doing what JAWS does in this regard. If someone had
*directly* stolen code then yes that's understandable, but this was
done in a totally different way, but does the same thing.

i've personally never used the placemarker feature, but even so, I
believe we're all in the same game here. We need to work together
rather than going about it in this way. Friendly competition is
great, but not like this.
