That will tell you the default recorder, but not bring up the context menu
of available recorders.
Thanks for mentioning control R, but I tried it and it it didn't do
anything. Do you have script installed, can I ask where you got them? I
wonder if the control R is a jaws script. The scripts from JFWLite don't do
that, but I think there are other scripts that might.

You can also do the insert page down to check the status bar. This will
usually tell you the recorder. Control r will bring up a list of recorders
you can choose.

Hi Debbie,
I followed your instructions, and it all worked as you said, except that
when I tried the left click, nothing happens.
I also tried a right click, and even shft+F10, but nothing comes up.
It really is peculiar.
Thanks for the tips, and a good thing to remember.
It just seems like something is blocking the drive from being recognized.
