I too had difficulty switching to the laptop layout. But due to traveling
and using the computer in class, I did use the laptop layout a lot of the
time. Now, I find that even when using a full keyboard I tend to use many
of the laptop key strokes. I find that not being required to leave the home
row to invoke the jaws cursor or to right click something very useful and
fast.

Sy,

Have you considered plugging a full-size 101 keyboard which includes a
numpad, into your laptop?

Sure, it's more bulky than a numpad, but then you have an easier to use
keyboard, that has the standard keyboard layout you are used to using.

Can anyone recommend a USB numpad for a Dell Latitude D520? I just received my Dell but I really do not like the laptop JAWS commands, I am used to the
