Hi, Renette. I'm going to place my answers after each of your three questions.

Hi All

Since this was the first time that I heard of the existence of a "numpad" keyboard, I have a couple of questions - that will probably reflect my novice status as far as a numpad keyboard goes:

1 If this is plugged into the laptop, does one then keep keyboard setting in Jaws to "desktop" and use this little numpad keyboard just as one would on a ordinary "desktop" computer (to work with Jaws)?
Answer. Yes.

2 Is the size of this numpad keyboard matching that of the numpad block on a normal desktop keyboard?
Answer. Yes.

3 To users that have practical experience with using a laptop, a laptop into which they have plugged in an external "desktop" keyboard and a laptop into which they have plugged in this "numpad" keyboard, which option is the more convenient/practical and if you do not mind, just for in case you have a reason for your answer which I am not considering, please motivate your choice? Answer. John Ramsey gave the argument for plugging in an entire keyboard. I used to do the same, but I find the complete keyboard cumbersome, depending on how I'm traveling. When I travel abroad, it is much simpler to carry a laptop and a numpad, which is tiny and easily fits into a laptop case pocket. Note also Ted Lisle's recent email, in which he offered an interesting alternative that I plan to look into one day.
