Bill,
In Word 2007, after ctrl + c to copy the text to clipboard:
Alt + e then wait a tiny bit, then press s
This will bring up the paste special box.
Type u to jump to unformatted text, then press enter.

On my computer if I type alt + e then s too quickly it doesn't work, probably some ribbon is being displayed after the alt + e and it takes a second to become active. In the paste special box when you press u to jump to unformatted text wait to hear Jaws speak that line to you as there are sometimes other options that also begin with the letter u.

It's too bad there isn't any shorter way to do this, as I have to do this almost every day. I was told by someone a macro could be done to shorten the number of keystrokes needed to do a paste unformatted text, but at least alt + e, then s is not hard to remember (think e for edit menu, s for paste special).

Does anyone know where I would find the option in word2007 that would allow me to cut and paste unformatted text into a document?

In Word 2003, it is in the edit menu under Paste special. Is there an equivalent in word 2007, and if so, where is it located?

Thank you.
