Creating a procedures list

Hi Listers, I am trying to create a numbered procedures list by copying and
pasting text from a large word document, a Project Assist tutorial as a point
in fact. I have tried copying the text from the word document then pasting it
in a cell within the excel application, sometimes the text will fit and others
part of the text will be in cells below the selected cell, the size of the
text does not seem to matter sometimes a large amount of text will go in the
cell very well, then a smaller amount will migrate to other cells I have tried
using a word document pasting in the first step, then pressing enter to create
a new line next pasting the second item below the first, this seems to work for
a while untill I have placed in 5 to 10 steps,then when I up or down-arrow I
can not land on the beginning of the desired step. do any of you know how I
can create a list of procedures where I could up and down-arrow to the
individual steps. I am using Jaws 5.0 with Win XP pro and word 2002. Thanks
