The fact that they are being inundated with email messages would seem to indicate that a lot of customers have encountered problems with the JAWS 10 update. This is a bad sign. This update should have been tested more thoroughly before it was released to the public. Customers who ante up the bucks for SMA's have a right to expect better customer support. Fortunately, I was not foolish enough to upgrade to JAWS 10. To my surprise, I discovered this morning that the long-standing bug which caused JAWS to go silent on the Copy/Cut command after WMP 11 is loaded has finally been fixed, even in JAWS 9, theversion I use.

It might, if they have lots of acknowledgements to send. Their mail server
could be backed up.

Maybe so, but this wouldn't explain the sudden failure to send automated
acknowledgments.

I'd imagine that the FS support systems are overloaded at the moment since
the latest release just came out. So you're bound to see delays and slow
responses for a while.

I see I didn't copy the addresses correctly. This is an address I have
tried. Again, I have received no response to my query and not even an
automated acknowledgment, as has been FS's practice for some time.

Have other JAWS users been able to get through to FS via email recently?

The question I want to ask is best suited for email. I want to know if JAWS
10 supports WordPerfect X4. From what I can tell, the last documented
version JAWS supports is X3. It seems X4 has some useful features.
