the quickest way I know of is to go into the Speech and Sounds Manager
from config Manager.

Once you're there, modify the current scheme, CTRL+Tab to the Misc page
and you'll find a list of events.

Move to "Cap" or "All caps" and press Tab.

change the Radio Buttons to "Speak Item"

Hit OK, Save Scheme, Hit OK and what have you.

Not sure if you can follow this outline, and if you can't let me know.

Subject: Changing the Way JAWS Says Caps

For speed purposes, I merged my settings at work for JFW 6. In Ie, at
least, it's representing caps with the word "cap" instead of the pitch
change I'm used to. I should know where to change this, but I can't
remember. Can someone refresh my memory?

Bruce
