Well Henning,
There is a point before you start the burn process where it says CD name, and
it
will have the current date in that field. Just back space that out and type in
your own CD title. Mine shows the date as well. So, I just delete it out and
type in my own title.
But remember, there are only 16 character spaces available for the CD title. I

Hi Everyone,
The info I'm going to give to you only works with Windows XP, as far as =
I
know.
1. go to my computer and find the CD burner's drive letter. In most =
cases,
it's D.
2. Now hit alt enter for the drive properties.
3. Now hit shift Tab, then right arrow until you hear, Auto Play Tab. =
It
should=20
be the first one to the right.
4. Now, tab once, you should hear,
Select a content type, then choose an action for Windows to perform=20
automatically when that type is used in this device:
Combo box music files, one of 6.
5. Arrow down to, blank CD.
6. Tab and you should hear,
Select an action to perform: radio button checked 1 of 1.
7. Tab again and you should hear, open writable CD folder using windows =
explorer.
If you don't hear this, arrow up or down until you find it. It may =
be=20
followed by a number, like, 2 of 5.
8. Once you find it, tab to OK, and you are done.
Now, when you insert a blank CD. the Window will open up for the blank =
CD.
You=20
can copy and paste files into this window, and you don't have to fill it =
all
at=20
once. You can keep adding to the disc until it's full. This works with
CDR's=20
and CDRW's. It's called, doing a multi burn.
If you're using a CDRW, then you can also delete files from the disc, =
even
if=20
you put it in weeks later, you can still add and delete from the CDRW =
disc.
You can not delete files that have been burned on to a CDR.
Now, how to burn the CD.
1. put in the blank CDR, or CDRW. The window should open up and tell =
you
that=20
the disc is blank.
2. Copy and paste the files you want on to the disc. it should be =
mentioned
that you can also put multiple folders on the disc as well, just like a =
hard
drive, or floppy disc.
3. Once you have all of the files you want to burn copied and pasted, =
tab
until=20
you hear, write these files to CD button. and hit enter.
if they are MP3's you will be asked if you want to make an audio CD, or =
a
data=20
CD. Choose the data CD. The audio CD will launch the Windows Media =
player,
and=20
I'm not going into that right now.
5. Now you will be asked to type a name for your CD. I believe you have =
16=20
characters of space.
6.Now tab to next, and hit Alt N.
The CD should start to burn. Be patient, because it has to load the
info=20
before it can burn it. It could take a couple of minutes.
When the burn is complete, the CD drawer will open. Remember, you can =
keep=20
adding to the disc until it's full. It will not try to write to a full =
CD.
It=20
will say that there isn't enough room and the CD drawer will open.
