I'm still not clear on why the file date would be changed.
Is the file's actual name the date that you're referring to? Because file
names
don't change unless you physically make the effort to change them.
But the original date that a file was created never changes. I can check the
properties of some of my older file's and see the date that I made that file,
like July 10, 2001.

Alex

I travel around training jaws user.
Sometime I have to use files on my cd to correct a problem.
I need to know that the file date on my cd is the same as on my home
computer, otherwise I wil be confused and not knowing which file I have =
to
use on my cd.
It could be fx jaws related files.

Best regards=20
Henning

Henning, Can I ask a really stupid question please? Why do you need the =

date to remain the same as it was on the original file?
Cheers.

Hi Moti

Sorry! in the burned files property both date are the current date.

I stil dont understand why the build in burner change the date.

It is very vital for me that the date shown in explore is the correct =
=3D
file
date and not the burned date.

So unfortunally i still have to use neo burn.

Best regards
Henning

Hi Henning,

When you highlight the file that you'd burnt, press alt+enter for =3D
properties

and then with the Jaws cursor you can see the original date and the date =
=3D
of=3D20
the modification of that file.
Try it
