yes. faster and easier.i learned all my bit torrent knowledge from google and the information for setting up etc. is out there, you just have to spend the time to find it.
as for jaws working with the client:i use u torrent and once the initial set up is complete, incidentally very easy to navigate using jaws on the set up screens, the client just waits until i open up a torrent file and does what it needs to do to get the download for me.
the u i of u torrent is fairly easy to comprehend and is totally accessible with the pc and jaws cursor when using jaws.

Faster? Sometimes...easier? Not in my experience. I'm actually having a hellof a time with torrents these days. I much prefer DC++, for music sharing, at any rate. TO keep this relatively on topic, I want to ask the community....what torrent clients do you all use? Which seems to work best with the screenreader for you? I'm currently using BitComet, and it is relatively JAWS-friendly. I'm very frustrated with the documentation however and its lack of forthcomingness on a number of issues. Bittorrents actually seemvery complex, on the inside, and I've had to set up things contrary to whatthe documentation suggests and work via much guessing.----- Original Message ----- From: "stephen faill" <stephen.faill@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, July 15, 2009 10:29 AM Subject: Re: BitTorin & Jaws 10it is a much faster and easier way to get files, whether it be music, dvd's or programs, than the old pier to pier file sharing. regards. stephen----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Hallsworth" <christopherh40@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, July 15, 2009 3:26 PM Subject: Re: BitTorin & Jaws 10It's a client and you download torrents with it.
