Well, I am not if it's a good thing to get updates or not. Any thoughts
on your part?

hi Michael,
If you don't whish to have any windows update, you can do the following
steps.

hi-lite my computer icon and press alt+enter key. press ctrl+tab until
you
hear "autometic updates tab", press tab twice then you will hear
"autometic
(recommended)". now you can use arrow down until "turn off autometic
updates" then finally press tab until "apply button" and hit spacebar
and
alt+f4 to close it.

Regards,
Allan Wong

Subject: Automatic Windows updates

Hi I was if any of you could tell me why everytime I turn my computer
on, I get a message having to check with windows updates. In my system
tray there is something that says stay current with auto updates, but I
am afraid to play around with it, and I am afraid to update my windows
for fear of doing something bad. Please provide your wisdom!!
