Steve,
That's a little complicated to absorb and remember, but I'm willing to try 
if you can explain one thing:  I don't wish to go through a list of critical 
objects and select some and leave others alone.  All I want to do is a 
wholesale quarantine of the critical objects, as used to be possible with 
Control M for Mark All.

Can you revise these instructions to make it work that way?  Or do you now 
have to go into the list whether you wanted to or not, and somehow go 
through the list, selecting each object, one at a time?

Folks, I had a little sighted help to figure this out.
When the scan is done, you do a control-n for next. Then you tab until you
reach the listview. Then you need to hit space bar to check the itmes in the
listview that you want to remove. Then do a control-n for next. Then a
dialog box pops up telling you how many items will be removed and asking you
if you want to proceed. Hit spacebar on the okay button, and you're done.
I've got my doubts as to whether the control-m for mark all works properly.
I'm using Jaws 6.2 on Windows XP home, and I, too, have recompiled the
latest scripts.
I hope that what I've said is helpful.
