I just want to say thank you for making the scripts for all of us. They work
flawlessly, as usual.

| I don't know yet what the command line options for SE are and I haven't
had
| a chance to find the information on the lavasoft site yet.
| But remember, you can also do the web updates manually by downloading the
| reference file.
| Manual Update*
| In some circumstances, you may not be able to update the definition file
by
| using WebUpdate. Reasons can include the server being too busy to process
| update requests, or proxy settings are not configured correctly in
Ad-Aware.
| You can download the reference file manually using the following steps.
|
| 1. Close Ad-Aware
|
| 2. Download the latest definition file in a ZIP file from
Lavasoft's
| website* http://www.lavasoft.de/redirect.php?target=4001?language=en
|
| 3. Save it to a temporary location
|
|
| 4. When complete, unzip the contents of the file, either through your
| favorite ZIP utility or through built-in support in Windows, to the
| installation directory of Ad-Aware, which is usually C:\Program
| Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware SE Personal\
|
|
| 5. Open Ad-Aware
|
|
|
| You can then confirm the latest definition file is installed by looking at
| the Initialization Status on the main Status screen.
|
|
| * You must be connected to the Internet to update the definition file

|
| Do you mean shift+tab keys to go back 2 times to the Web Updates
| button within the new Ad-aware SE? To Debbie: Is there a command
| line one can enter within the "Run" feature in Windows operating
| system to do the web updates within Ad-aware SE? I recall one
| time someone mention such a thing for Ad-aware 6.181 Personal.
| Just an idea.
