I had Jaws act like this when my display settings got messed up. Try this... 1. minimize all applications (windows key+m) 2. Unselect the item if it's checked (control+spacebar) 3. Press the letter r to activate the display properties 5. on the Themes Page: set to windows xp. To change press alt plus down arrow to open 6. When I press windows key and then programs pressing on the P, Jaws says Accessories unavailable and when I press the right arrow, another submenu opens from the list under programs. So all the programs under accessories submenu are gone. A sighted person told me that there is no axxessories submenu between the list I'm using windows XP professional and Jaws 8.
