Hi Graham, This isn't of much help to you but I can also say I've experienced this not only in Word tables but in Excel spreadsheets as well. In saying that, I have just spent the last ten minutes tabbing around a regular example I use in these programmes, and sod's law, they both navigate and read ok, I can't replicate it. It's not something I've thought alot about as it obviously wasn't as crucial as your experience but three things come to mind. 1: If Ram is in heavy use, have you tried closing all other windows? 2: View menu, adjust the zoom %? 3: In Word, does your table span beyond the width of the selected paper size? Sorry can't be of much help, Robin -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Graham Page Sent: 02 May 2008 10:56 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] reading tables in Word 2003 Hi all. I use tables as part of a document template that I use in connection with work. I use this regularly and when JAWS 9 was first released I noticed that when tabbing from column to column in the table, JAWS tends to read information from the column I was previously in. This problem still exists and it is so severe that I actually revert to JAWS version 8. I just wanted to find out if anyone else is having this problem reading Word 2003 tables in JAWS 9?
