Frank, if you can get on to the Freedom Scientific web site, you can
download any version of Jaws in demo mode.
As long as you have the product key and all that stuff you can then
authorize it. That'll solve problems if the fault is with the version you
have on CD.

i am not getting the full range of functions from the jaws key , only three
at the moment,i have a feeling that my jaws didd not download properly as it
crashed my laptop twice , and i have only just managed to download the
training material , which fs reader does not recognise, i may have to
reinstall jaws again, but my laptop may crash again,. thanks for your help.

The insert key is essential for most Jaws functions, so you have to sort
this out.
I don't want to teach granny to suck eggs, but...
You must hold the insert key/caps lock key down while then pressing the
other key.
As for insert-J, that's a combination I've never used, (though it should
work as you suggest.) I always toggle through the open windows with alt-tab
until it comes up.

hello
i have got the incert key sort of working, for example , i press caps lock
and t , i get the title of the application i am using , but if i press
incert plus j i will not get the jaws screen , do i have to go into jaws
applications to get it to work. a bit hit and miss. thanks for any advice
