Hi Jane, I am assuming that you are able to run Windows media player but can't get sounds out of it. Normally pressing enter or clicking a sound file such as a music track will invoke media player, or an equivalent player, automatically and play the track. If this doesn't happen, it is possible that the "allow wave files with software synthesisers" setting is not checked in Jaws. To change this do the following: 1. press JawsKey+6 on the top number row; 2. press control+shift+d to open the default settings: 3. press alt+s then s on it's own to display the synthesiser settings: 4. Tab until you hear something like "allow wave files with software synthesisers" and take note of whether the item is checked or not. 5. If the item is not checked, press the space bar to check it; 6. Tab to OK and press enter; 7. press alt+f4 and type Y if asked to accept changes If this doesn't make any difference come back to the list and we'll try again.
