Hi Sue,

If you have no joy with other suggestions then I suggest the following which
I have already tested.

The way to add or remove items from your "SendTo" list is to press Winkey R
which takes you into the "Run" box. Simply type SendTo
and press enter and a list of the items in your SendTo list will appear.
You can add by pasting into the list or deleting. You can edit by pressing
F2 on an item, change the name and enter. Just press Alt F4 to get out of
it.

Having given you the last stage first I'll now give you the first stage.

Find a Shortcut to Windows Media Player. Copy and paste it as mentioned
above. If you are not sure where to look try

Program Files in Windows Explorer
Windows Media Player
 Tab to list view
then Wmplayer.exe
Applications key and go to the Shortcut.
Copy and paste as mentioned.

Seems longwinded now I've written it out but all you are doing is putting a
shortcut into your SendTo items. Once you have used that shortcut once all
your MP3s should go to Windows Media Player.

I certainly hope it works.

Regards

David

Hi David.

Thanks for the reply. I did what you suggested, but media player doesn't
appear in the sent to list. Do you have any other suggestions?

Hi Sue,

Select an MP3 file, then press your application key and click on the SendTo
item in that list. You should find the media player you want therre and
enter on that.

Hopefully, your file will then be played in that player and all similar
files thereafter.

Hope it works.

Regards

David

Hi list.
I play my MP3's through my music. When I tab round to the play selection
button and press enter, media player used to automatically open and the
files I've selected to play would play. I listened to an audio CD yesterday
on my computer. I'm not sure what I've done, but media player doesn't open
anymore now so please could someone let me know how to correct this problem
and get media player working again?

Thanks.

Sue.
