  Hi,

It really depends on why the router is not working. If you have an IP
address from the routers DHCP server, do ipconfig /all at the dos prompt. The
default gateway will be the address of the router. However, if the router is
not working, you may not have an IP address from its DHCP server, and thus will
not have an IP at all for comunication. Which model of router is it?

  Thanks.
  Andrew.

  Hi,

Not a jaws question, but can anyone tell me where I might find the address of
a router, which has stopped working and I can't get it to connect to the
internet. For those curious to wonder how then I am sending this message, I'll
just say, try another computer instead!

  Cheers

  Roger
