Keith,

You state that Will at S &S says that the combo boxes on the
Halifax site are incorrectly labelled. Have you pointed
this out to Halifax?

banking security

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.

Well, I had a word with S&S this morning, and Will suggested
that after
tabbing to the second combo box, I used either Enter or
Alt+Down Arrow to
open it, and repeat that step for box 3.

Also to make sure the PC cursor was active once the combo
box was opened.

And, believe it or not, I am now able to gain access to my
Halifax account.

I wouldn't have thought either of the steps would have been
necessary, but,
well, if it works, I am pleased.

Will also said the combo boxes are incorrectly labelled by
Halifax, so I
just ignore what Jaws says, and enter the correct character
in the correct
box.

With best wishes,

Keith

Hi,

I have had this problem in the past there was no cure for
it. What solved it

was the bank in question upgrading the website.

My way of getting around it was to make a mental note of the
digits and
start from the first combo box ignoring what jaws was
reading.

HTH.

Ismail.
