I am having a problem with Word 2003. I keep hearing the menu bar being spoken when I am trying to read a file. It is ok if I read the whole thing at once with say all in JAWS, but it keeps popping up when I am reading a file line by line. For example, if I want to edit my talking book list to remove books I have read, I go down the list so far, and then the menu bar keeps being read, and not the line I am on. I have tried going into view and unchecking all the toolbars, but it doesn't work. On the menu bar there is an extra item which says tool bar options, and cursoring down offers a customise option, but going into this doesn't seem to get rid of the constant repetition of "file, edit, view, etc". Any ideas, please?
