Hi

In the verbosity options there is an option that says "Doc floating tool
bars for next time".

Make sure it says for next time and not "off for next time".

Not sure what version of jaws you are using.

Have done what you said, and it still doesn't work.  The problem is that on
the menu bar, between file and ask a question for help, there is another
menu which has toolbar options, customise and menu bar on it.  This was not
there in previous versions of Word, and I can't get rid of it.
