Hi,
I've also contacted Sight and Sound.
I was told to open Adobe Reader and try going to the "edit" tab, then go to
" preferences". Once in there, go to " security (enhanced)" and untick "
enable protected mode view".
I have just done this and it appears to have solved the issue for me. Have
opened several PDF documents and they are now reading.
Give it a try. Hope this helps.
Many thanks - Sue.

Hello,
I have also just started to have that problem too. I have tried to recognise
the pdfs with the JAWS OCR programme but it announces that "it has failed to
start". I contacted Sight and Sound who tried to do a remote repair but it
didn't work so they have contacted Freedom Scientific and I am awaiting a
reply. If anyone has any advice, I would be pleased to receive it!
Thanks,
Veronica

I just noticed this after opening a new PDF document just emailed to me.
I've since looked at some other PDF documents which until today I could
read. They are also just saying blank and I can't read them.
Does anyone have any ideas as to the problem or how to fix it?
I vaguely recall someone else posting on here recently with a similar
