Hi, I have tried that and although it seems to read pdfs now and the 
JAWS OCR function starts, the OCR doesn't come up with any results as it 
once used to. It clicks a few clicks then goes silent...
Any thoughts?

I have just done this and it appears to have solved the issue for me. Have

Hello,
I have also just started to have that problem too. I have tried to recognise
the pdfs with the JAWS OCR programme but it announces that "it has failed to
start". I contacted Sight and Sound who tried to do a remote repair but it
didn't work so they have contacted Freedom Scientific and I am awaiting a
reply. If anyone has any advice, I would be pleased to receive it!
