Hi David,

I don't have a complete answer for you and I have no personal experience of
SAP but I did have a word with my manager who has to use it on occasions.
She has checked with her SAP contact and received a reply which she
forwarded to me.

I have found a document at the link below which describes a number of
accessibility settings and points to the latest web front end which, if you
are allowed to use it, would permit you to access SAP using internet
explorer and thus use the standard controls for bringing up lists of fields
etc.

Some of the settings need to be changed by the SAP management.

The link to the PDF document is:
http://www.sapdesignguild.org/resources/acc_technical_requirements_V3_1_external_EN.pdf
 -
If you can view E-mails in Outlook in HTML format, the same standard
controls should be available to you.

I hope that some of this helps,

Regards,

Phil Medway

Subject: [jaws-uk] List form fields

Hi List,

I would like to know if there is or if not, it is possible, to list form
fields/controls in applications such as:

Outlook, where I would like to quickly list all the fields/controls of a
contacts info, in the address book.

Excel, where I have to tab through loads of controls when I wish to
format the spreadsheet for instance.

SAP, using SAP is a bit of a nightmare, as all the fields/controls have
to be tabbed through, and there are loads of them.

Basically wherever there are fields/controls to be tabbed through, I
would like to be able to quickly list and select them, as I can in
internet explorer using Insert+F5 or Access using Control+Shift+L

If it is possible, it would seriously reduce the wear and tear on the
Tab key, not to mention the repetitive strain on my left index finger!

Cheers

Regards

Dave Ankers
